Hello Beautiful Beaders,

This week I'm going to show you how to create one of the beautiful Sparkle Spacer Angels that we often talk about in this blog. My Sparkle Spacer and Pearly Bum Angels are by far my most popular pieces and it thrills me to know that so many of you love them as much as I do.

In fact I'm launching a new Pearly Bum beauty on Create and Craft TV, at 11am, April the 10th. She's a wonderful Snow White little lady who is named Imogen, after my adorable god daughter.

Do be sure to tune in and watch the show or record it and bead along with me at a later date, once you've purchased the kit.
Anyway enough of my ramblings, let's get on with teaching you that technique....

To make a Sparkle Spacer Angel you will need: Metallic sparkle spacer beads in 12mm, 10mm, 8mm, 6mm & 4mm
Stardust beads (heads) Angel wings, beadcaps, headpins, jump rings and bag charm clasps.

1. Take a head pin and add a bead cap followed by 2 12mm then 2 10mm sparkle spacers continue to add 2 8mm, 2 6mm & 1 4mm sparkle

2. Add an angel wing and a bead for the head, finish with a 6mm sparkle spacer for the halo.

3. Cut the head pin about 1cm above the top of the bead and bend at a 90’ angle on top of the bead

4. Roll the head pin to create a head pin loop at the top of your wire. Using a jump ring attach the angel onto the charm.

If you've enjoyed this weeks blog and are hungry for more then don't forget that you can catch me at The Big Bead Show, on Saturday the 1st of April, at Sandown Park in Esher.
I'll be there to meet you guys at the Riverside Bead stand as well as teaching mini workshops throughout the day. To book a ticket simply follow this link.

Of course you can also book on to one of our amazing workshops at Riverside HQ, in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire. Coming up in the next few weeks we have some terrific courses, like our Lazy Daisy Bracelet making class on Monday the 3rd of April. It's a three hour workshop and is a snip at only £15 per person.
