It’s techniques time again and this month I’m excited to share another classic jewellery making trick with you. I’m going to show you a few tips on how you can use chain, a must for those handmade pieces that only require a short burst of the shiny stuff!
You can use Jump rings and chain to add movement to your projects, open chain in the same way as jump rings. You can attach varying lengths of chain to a bag charm.

Speaking of Create and Craft TV I’m going to be back on your screens on Wednesday June 7th at 9am with a fabulous new offer. You’ll have to tune in to find out more, or set your tv to record! We’re also planning a big month of ‘Make and Takes’ in June, covering a variety of skills and techniques. These mini teach sessions are absolutely free and you get to take away the item that you make!
They will all mainly be held in our beautiful new ‘Makery’ room (think Bakery but with Crafts and Beads as the delicious goodies in production!).
